Port Fairy kennels was established in February 2005 by Neil and Yvonne Duncan with the help of their young children Emily and James. Not to mention all the help of both father in laws and friends. Neil being a builder, did most of the construction of the kennels and deluxe. Yvonne, who studied horticulture, established the gardens to be dog friendly.
Yvonne and Neil started the kennels as they were unhappy with the quality of care they received for their Rottweiler Kane. Kane would come back from other kennels with deep sores on his front paws from fretting. They decided to open kennels themselves, as they are not intimidated with any type of breed of dog and have a deep love of animals.
The dogs are allowed to socialise at play time with appropriate buddies, the kennels believe this helps the dogs enjoy their stay as they are a pack animal and love the interaction.
At Port Fairy Kennels, they do everything to maintain and safeguard your pets' health during their stay. The kennels supply nutritious meals using only premium quality food. They only use Pro Plan for their dry food, ranging from puppy through to senior. You can supply your own food if your pet requires special needs.
